To The Wonder

To The Wonder: Ladies and Gentlemen, Terrence Malick works his magic again. This preview makes me want to cry, and I'm picturing it will be much the same emotion that will be met upon viewing the film. I've said it before, and it looks like it's coming true: put Olga Kurylenko in more films. Also starring Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams and Javier Bardem, To the Wonder is out in cinemas April 12, 2013 (USA) [IMDB]

The Hangover Part 3: "The Hangover Part 3: Alan-fest", I believe is the full title. I'm expecting much the same, but different (if that even makes sense). Out in Australian cinemas May 23, 2013 [IMDB]

Monsters University

Monsters University: Poor Disney.. It's been a little while since an original film was released and did well (Up, in 2009). So, when nothing new is on the plate, go back to what you know has worked: sequels. Since Up, we've been graced with Toy Story 3, Cars 2 and the original film that didn't do too well, Brave. It looks like Disney is doing the same here, squeezing out more entertainment juice from a past film. Iron Man 3: To be honest, I'm bored with Iron Man. That's right, BORED! Check it out (or don't, but we all know you probably will) in Australian cinemas April 24, 2013 [IMDB]

Epic

Epic: EPIC! Credit it to "trailer hype", but this animation looks great, and looks to follow the same line as Fern Gully and Avatar, but with more pop culture references. I'm really hoping this film doesn't disappoint. Out in Australian cinemas June 13, 2013 [IMDB]

Disconnect

Disconnect: Disconnect looks like another movie that makes us afraid of normal, every day things (Mirrors, Pulse), but a heap better. I don't even care that Jason Bateman is in this. Let me watch it now! Out in cinemas April 12 (USA), 2013 [IMDB]

Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2: O.M.G. Let me at this! The first movie was a gem, and this sequel looks to be one of my most anticipated films of 2013. Praying my bubble don't get burst.. Out in Australian cinemas November 28, 2013 [IMDB]

Kick Ass 2

Kick Ass 2: "Try to have fun, otherwise what's the point?" - Colonel Stars and Stripes' line seems to sum up the gist of this movie completely, with added deep super-self reflection. I loved the first film, and it looks like I'll love the second one. And OMG Jim Carrey in a fun comedic role. It's been too long. Out in cinemas August 16, 2013 (USA) [IMDB]
