Breaking Bad: Season 5, Part 2 - Updates

Breaking Bad

Season 5 - Updates

The fifth and final season of award-winning television Breaking Bad comes to our screens soon, but not soon enough! Hank knows that his brother-in-law, Walter White, is the infamous meth cook known as Heisenburg. Looks like Walt's fate will be decided in the coming months...

The latest...

February 6, 2013: Rumour is that the finale of Breaking Bad will be very "Hank-centric"! In an interview with Canada's National Post, Dean Norris (Hank) says that he had asked the show creator (Vince Gilligan) for Hank to be killed off in the final season, to which Gilligan replied, "I need you. What else am I going to write about in the last eight?"

February 2, 2013: E! Online had a chat with Anne Gunn during the SAG Awards, who spilled the beans on the upcoming Breaking Bad episodes:

"What Walt's actions have wrought, everything starts to explode and implode," she says. "Every single person around him is being affected by it in a very, very dark way. It's kind of like watching the walls of this world crumble down."

Anne tells E! that she has to lock herself away in a quiet room to read what comes next, "I'll find my hands shaking as I turn page after page because what they're coming up with is so intensely mind-blowingly brilliant."

It sounds like Breaking Bad fans may have a hard time coping with what goes down in the upcoming episodes, Gunn continues, "The twists and turns and the unexpected things that are happening are breathtaking, and your heart is leaping into your throat and it's going to be that kind of ride for the viewers"

February 1, 2013: Sadly, after an internet flurry at the previous news, it turns out that Jane Kaczmarek will not be reuniting with her Malcom in the Middle co-star Bryan Cranston. Vulture reports that she will simply be a DVD extra for when Breaking Bad is wrapped. Agh! Will we ever get that Malcom reunion...?

January 30, 2013: Breaking Bad may be experiencing a Malcom in the Middle reunion...!

January 16, 2013: Gulf Weekly reports in an interview with Vince Gilligan that the Breaking Bad conclusion will not please all fans of the show, "It's going to be polarising no matter how you slice it," "But you don't want 10 per cent to say it was great and 90 per cent to say it sucked. You want those numbers to be reversed."

January 5, 2013: Aaron's tweet regarding the premiere date has been deleted, and Aaron later updates with:

January 4, 2013: Aaron Paul tweeted out the second half of Season 5 premiere date prematurely.
